Submit a copy of your valid Texas Driver’s License or Permit or be a member, or the spouse of, dependent child of a member of a member of the United States Military forces serving on active duty (CDL holders are not eligible). Requested on or before the appear by date of your ticket. To qualify for a Driving Safety Course, you must complete the following: You must submit a completed Driver’s Safety Course application, copies of your driver’s license and proof of insurance and payment for court costs, in person or submit by mail on or before your appear by date. Commercial driver’s license holders are not eligible. Speeding with a speed of 95 miles per hour or more. Speeding 25 or more miles over the posted speed limit. Offense occurring in construction zone with workers present. Failure to stop and remain at the scene after an accident involving damage to a vehicle. Failure to give information and render aid after an accident resulting in injury, death, or damage to a vehicle. You are eligible to take a Driving Safety Course if you are charged with a moving violation and have not taken a Driving Safety Course within the past 12 months and did not commit any of the following:
